Fresh Asia is the result of the vision of one man: Tamir Lehrman, graduate of the Paul Bocuse Culinary Institute in France, holder of an International MBA in production management, and experienced chef and restaurant owner. Together with business manager, Motti Eliyahu, an investor, entrepreneur, and innovator with over 40 years of experience, they set about creating one of the most unique food startups today.

To bring the traditional flavors
of the Asian kitchen to the western pallet – on a large scale!

Established in 2017, Fresh Asia is on a mission to produce innovative solutions for the food industry, taking traditional Asian recipes and production methodologies, and brilliantly adapted them to suit western tastes, manufacturing conditions, and the increasing demand for healthy gluten-free alternatives.

Looking at recipes, production lines and packaging solutions, Fresh Asia products enable a reduction in kitchen personnel by simplifying preparation, while enhancing dish quality and food safety. Innovative per-portion packaging completes the Fresh Asia approach for a product that is not only tasty, but is also easy to use, has a long shelf life and is financially viable.

 

Production takes place in a state-of-the-art factory that complies with all Healthy Ministry requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), including regarding the separation of facilities for the manufacture of gluten-free products.

 

In 2021, Fresh Asia received funding from the Israeli government to develop innovative products and a new technology prototype. Today, Fresh Asia is a leader in its field, and the largest producer of Asian steamed buns in Israel, as well as the only producer of fresh rice noodles and rice sheets.
